Teaching Philosophy

My Teaching Philosophy

I believe that all a child needs to learn is motivation. It is my desire to help motivate them so that they can be the best learners they can be. It is my job as an educator that the children I teach leave with nothing but the best education.

I want to leave a positive memory in each and every child. I want to be the teacher that they remember taught they all they could. Each child is special and I will work with each child individual if it comes to it. No child is the same and no two children learn the same. It is my desire to teach a child the ways of learning and help them help others.

My teaching methods will be hands-on, individual learning, group learning, and projects that interest them. Not only will I teach the basic subjects, but I want the students to understand the world and how they want to participate in it. All children need to aspire doing something in the future. How will they know what they want to be when they’ve never thought of it or been taught to. I want all students to be successful and I want the students to know that they are capable of anything.

My classroom is going to be an open and friendly place for students and parents. I want them to not only be good learners and listeners but responsible as well. Each student will have a duty and it will give them a sense of belonging and pride. I hope this will carry on into their adult lives and they will also teach others to love and love themselves.

Children are the future and learning is a slow but steady process. Being supportive, encouraging, and understanding are my main goals in teaching. If a child believes that the teacher does not care, then they won’t care. I want the students to know that I am there for them and that I will always be there to help.

Teaching has taught me many things and one is that kids are very perceptive and striving to learn. I’ve learned that not all strategies are good and I learn new ones everyday. Children are our tomorrow and I will make sure that they are ready for a new day.
